USA Patronship Programme for needy students at our veda pathashalas
Srih
Srimate Srivaraha Mahadesikaya Namaha
Srimate Rangaramanuja Mahadesikaya Namaha
Sishyas, abhimanis and well-wishers from the USA have expressed a keen desire to support our Veda Pathashalas at Srirangam, Vrindavan, Thiruchanoor, Aurangabad, Thiruvahindrapuram and Veduvoor, where over 200 students are provided free boarding, lodging and medical help. They are taught the Vedas in various stages, besides other subjects such as Vyakaranam, Prabandham, and Agamam: The children are enrolled when they are 8 to 10 years old and study for 9-10 years, with a further option to continue for another five years to create ghana-padigals and bhashya-adhikaris whose numbers are dwinding in India.
HH Srimad Andavan is very serious about continuing and expanding the Veda Pathashala project due to the reducing numbers of adhikaris in the world.
Any support that sishyas and abhimanis from the USA can offer to maintain the free upkeep and study of each student will go a long way in preserving our Vedic culture and Vaishnava sampradayam.
Generally, sponsorship of the expenditure for one student per year is $1000, but you can donate any amount according to your capacity and desire.
Please contact the local office of Ramanuja Mission USA to make your contribution, after which you can fill the form below to inform us about your support from the USA. Contributions to Ramanuja Mission USA will benefit from deduction in federal taxes for donations given to 501(c)3 organisations, provided you file a Schedule A with your tax form.
If you do not require tax deductions, you can also remit directly to an Indian account by clicking on this link.
IMPORTANT: After you make your contribution to the Veda Patashala through Ramanuj Mission, please do not forget to fill the online form at the bottom of this page. This will ensure that your contribution reaches the Veda Patashala and is used for the support and maintenance of deserving students there.
