Sri Ranganatha Paduka Vidyalaya Trust maintains and protects over 500 cows at Srirangam, Chinnashramam. Protecting and providing for cows is considered to be a very sacred duty, and therefore is an activity of great importance to the Ashramam.
In the Anushashana Parva of the Mahabharata, the benefits of service to cows is mentioned thus: ““Serving the cow fulfils even the most difficult wishes. The cow grants all of one’s wishes if one were to look after it properly without anger or cruelty. One would be blessed if one worshiped the cow daily with a calm mind, keeping one’s senses under control”
You can serve the sacred cows in our Goshala by sponsoring any amount in multiples of Rs. 1000 for their upkeep and maintenance according to your capacity. Maintenance includes the expenditure for monthly fodder and medicines. Please ensure that you make the bank-transfer according to the details given below.
